Portrait Artists
Some portraits don’t have to actually have a face in them. To me, they have to represent that person. Be that it may, a portrait must also make sense. It differs from photography just because it has to have a point. Without a point, photography are merely pictures etched in paper. Nothing more than a drawing or painting.
Steve McCurry has captured my heart and the heart of millions with his images. The one that sticks out the most for me is ‘The Afghan Girl’. Such intensity has captivated a multitude of emotions and stories when you study the photograph. It’s no wonder National Geographic made it the cover of one of their issues.
